- Sergio Ramírez es Premio Cervantes 2017 y ganador del Premio Alfaguara de Novela y del Premio Latinoamericano de novela José María Arguedas. Pertenece a la generación de escritores latinoamericanos post-boom. En su novela “Tongolele no sabía bailar”, traducida por María Paleologou, y publicada por la editorial Íkaros, describe a la Nicaragua que se vio sacudida por un masivo levantamiento estudiantil en el 2018. Con motivo de esta protesta y su violenta represión por parte de la policía y los paramilitares –que se saldó con cientos de muertos y heridos–, Sergio Ramírez, en su primer libro que se publica en griego, plantea magistralmente una ficción de cine negro político con la caída del jefe de inteligencia Anastasio Prado, conocido como "Tongolele", como eje central.
