Fue nombrada \"Mejor Educadora de Am\u00e9rica Latina y el Caribe\u201d, por el Banco Interamericano para el Desarrollo, en 2015, y actualmente es integrante de la Ata Comisi\u00f3n Internacional de los Futuros de la Educaci\u00f3n, de la UNESCO.
