Azuela no es s\u00f3lo el gran novelista de la Revoluci\u00f3n Mexicana, sino un narrador con el don de retratar las vivencias de todo una naci\u00f3n. A la par de la escritura fue m\u00e9dico y milit\u00f3 en las fuerzas de Pancho Villa. Esas son algunas de las razones por las cuales Mariano Azuela es un escritor excepcional en el panorama de la literatura mexicana.
