Ejemplo representativo es el escritor nicarag\u00fcense de envergadura global, Sergio Ram\u00edrez, cuya obra narrativa se centra en la historia, la pol\u00edtica y la cultura de su pa\u00eds y de Latinoam\u00e9rica en general. Por otra parte, el escritor costarricense Rafael \u00c1ngel Herra conocido por su obra po\u00e9tica y narrativa toca temas filos\u00f3ficos y sociales con una mirada cr\u00edtica y profunda.
