Una madre intenta ahogarse, pero fracasa. Tras emerger de las profundidades del lago \u2014donde presenci\u00f3 algo tan horroroso como seductor\u2014, \u00bfc\u00f3mo podr\u00e1 seguir cumpliendo con su rutina diaria de esposa y madre? Un padre vive atormentado por la culpa debido a las secuelas de por vida que un instante de distracci\u00f3n caus\u00f3 en su hijo. Un caballo herido aparece de la nada para reabrir viejas llagas. El intento de envenenamiento de un gato lleva a dos escritoras a conclusiones asombrosas. Dos ni\u00f1as conocen a una poeta alcoh\u00f3lica durante sus vacaciones y se entregan a su cuidado. Una mujer atiende a una anciana desconocida con demencia y experimenta, de forma inesperada, las consecuencias de la codependencia. Las de \u201cEl buen mal\u201d son historias oscuras, inesperadas y explosivas sobre las relaciones familiares, los fantasmas de las expectativas y la culpa, la imposibilidad de una comunicaci\u00f3n absoluta y las trampas de la insatisfacci\u00f3n. Relatos que nos conducen, uno a uno, con humor negro y suspense, a enfrentarnos con los monstruos de nuestra propia cotidianidad y con nosotros mismos.<\/span><\/p>\n

En abril de 2026 Samanta Schweblin ha sido galardonada por esta obra con el primer Premio Aena de Narrativa Hispanoam\u00e9ricana; un certamen que promueve la literatura en espa\u00f1ol y que cuenta con una dotaci\u00f3n econ\u00f3mica de un mill\u00f3n de euros.<\/span><\/p>\n
