Nos sumergimos en la lectura de esta reflexión tan lúcida como conmovedora que el escritor mexicano Jorge Volpi hace a la muerte de su padre. Diez ensayos que van de lo más íntimo a lo político y social, un libro lleno de metáforas sobre la salud del cuerpo —el padre de Volpi fue un prestigioso cirujano— y la situación de su propio país. Con la presencia del autor.
Jorge Volpi es uno de los escritores contemporáneos más importantes en lengua española. En 2018 ganó el premio Alfaguara por su obra Una novela criminal.
Observaciones: Para participar en el club de lectura es necesario tener el carné de la biblioteca vigente y un nivel de español mínimo de B2.
